Hi Community Members!

I would like your support to guide me on how can i create a new microsoft intune trial account for testing purpose. I have tried creating Intune Trial before but everytime, when filling out the "Tell us about yourself" part completes and i click next. It redirects me to admin.microsoft.com and "Your account is under review.

When ever i'm checking the billing information section it says "There is an error or problem with the organization or company name that was entered. To fix it, please update it in the page below. This review process will not impact your current services. Until this issue is resolved, you won't be able to buy new products or services and some actions on your subscriptions will be restricted"

I do have added my PAN number, but since i dont have any organisation information added or any GSTIN number. It's getting stuck here.

Is it even possible to use Intune as free trial using personal Msoft accounts? or for individual training purposes?

Regards.

    Hey there, Somak Acharya

You can only register for a trial once. Once you have signed up for a trial and the trial has since expired, then you won't be able to sign up for another trial. This will be why you are running into problems when signing up for the trial.

You would need to purchase a licence.

    Hope this helps,
    Nathan

To create a new Microsoft Intune trial account for testing purposes, you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft Intune Plan 1 Trial setup account page.
    2. Enter your email address and select Next. If you already have an account with another Microsoft service, you can sign in with that account.
    3. Select Set up account to create a new account.
    4. Fill in your personal details such as name, phone number, company name, company size, and region. Review the information and select Next.
    5. Send a verification code to your phone number and enter the code to verify.
    6. Add a Username and Domain name for your trial, which represents your business or organization. This will be your name before .onmicrosoft.com. Select Save to check availability and then Next.
    7. Add a payment method. This is only for verification purposes and won't be charged unless you purchase something.
    8. Once your account is created, you will receive a confirmation email with your account information.

Regarding the issues you are facing:

    • It seems that the review process is triggered due to missing organization information like a GSTIN number. Microsoft Intune trials typically require some organizational details to set up the account properly.
    • Using a personal Microsoft account may not be sufficient for creating a trial account, as Intune is designed for organizational use.
    • If you do not have an organization, you might consider using a different approach or reaching out to Microsoft support for guidance on how to proceed with your personal account.

For further assistance, you may want to check the billing information section for any errors and ensure that all required fields are filled out correctly.
