1/could you please clarify exactly which subscription does your organization currently use?
2/Could you check whether the charge was on the same subscription or different one ?
Go to Microsoft 365 admin center, then go to "Billing" find "Bills & payment". Check if there is any invoice that have been charge twice for a subscription.
