Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

May I please confirm if you redeemed the product key here?

    https://setup.office.com/redeem/enter-key

If so, could you please sign in with your Microsoft account on the Services & Subscriptions page to check whether the subscription is active?

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

If the subscription is active in your Microsoft account, but you get the 'subscription is inactive' status on the Office applications.

    • Select your profile picture on the top right corner of any office apps, such as Word.
    • Select Sign out.
    • Then, sign in with your Microsoft account that has the Office subscription active.

Let me know if you still need more help.

If your subscription is showing as canceled even after you have entered your product key, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Subscription Status: Make sure that your subscription is indeed inactive and not in a different state (like expired or disabled). You can do this by logging into the Microsoft 365 admin center and checking under Billing > Your products.
    2. Reactivate Subscription: If your subscription is inactive, you may need to reactivate it. Follow these steps:
      • Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
      • Select the subscription that you want to reactivate.
      • In the Subscription and payment settings section, look for an option to Reactivate subscription.
      • If prompted, select a payment method and confirm the reactivation.
    3. Contact Support: If you have followed the above steps and the issue persists, it may be best to contact Microsoft support for further assistance. They can help you resolve any issues related to your subscription status or product key activation.

Make sure to have your purchase details handy when contacting support to expedite the process.
