Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello @venkatesh gollapalli
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Community!
Thank you for reaching out. I understand you're unable to log in to the Microsoft 365 admin portal after setting up your Business Standard trial and submitting your PAN details. I’m here to help.
Based on Microsoft’s documented guidance, there are a few common reasons why this issue can occur and some steps you can try to resolve it:
1/ Verify You’re Using the Correct Admin Account
Please make sure you’re signing in with the work or school account that was created during the trial setup. Using a personal Microsoft account (such as Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Gmail) will prevent access to the admin center. You can attempt to sign in directly here: Microsoft 365 admin center
2/ Try a Different Browser or Clear Cache
Sometimes cached session data or browser settings can block the login page. Microsoft recommends clearing your browser’s cookies and cache or using an incognito/private window. You can also try another browser entirely.
3/ Allow Time for Trial Activation
In some cases, after submitting PAN or billing details, the system needs a short time to fully activate the trial. During this delay, access to the admin portal may not be available yet.
4/ Ensure Your Account Still Has Global Administrator Permissions
If any new test users were created or settings adjusted, your original account may no longer have the Global Admin role required to open the admin portal. This is a known scenario and can prevent access even if the login works elsewhere.
If you created any additional users, please try signing in with those credentials as well—one of them may now be the active Global Administrator.
If none of the above steps work, Microsoft may need to verify your tenant details (business name, domain, or payment verification) to restore access. This requires the Microsoft Data Protection Team. Guidance on this process is available through Microsoft Support.
Please find the appropriate contact information here and make a phone call: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support
Once your ticket is assigned and you receive a call from an agent, please be ready to provide details associated with your subscription, such as:
- The primary domain associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription.
- Billing details associated with the subscription, such as invoice numbers or partial payment information.
- Official business information matching what is listed on the tenant profile.
Having this information prepared will help expedite the verification process.
Note:
Depending on your country or region, when you call the support number, you may hear an introduction of about 30 seconds such as "you can visit the link...". You can ignore this introduction and wait until you are presented with the options. Then press "1" as a business email user, and again "1" for technical help.
Please try calling the phone support number 2-3 times during work week to ensure an agent is available to take your ticket.
After submitting your support ticket, it may take some time for it to be assigned to an agent. Due to the high volume of requests, there could be delays in handling your case. Please allow 5-7 days for your ticket to reach an agent.
If your organization's Office 365 Business/Education subscription is from a partner or reseller, contact the reseller's support provider to help open a service request on behalf of you instead.
If you cannot successfully speak to a support representative, please consider creating a new tenant by signing up for a trial Microsoft 365 subscription via this link Compare All Microsoft 365 Plans | Microsoft. Once the new tenant is set up, use its admin console to submit a support ticket requesting assistance for your original tenant. Remember to cancel the trial subscription after the issue is resolved to avoid charges.
Thank you very much for your valuable time and your cooperation. Let me know how it goes on your end or if you need further assistance.
