Dear Team,

I have purchased a reservation with 2x VMs with shared scope, billed on subscription A.

I then split it in 2 reservations of of 1x VM each, with scope respectively on subscription A and B.

Will the billing stay on subscription A for both ( the original subscription against which the shared scope was billed ) or will each VM reservation now be billed on subscription A and B?

Many thanks!
Federico

    Hello @FedericoZarelli-6386,

When you split a reservation that was originally purchased with a shared scope, the billing will remain on the original subscription (Subscription A) for both reservations unless explicitly changed.

After the split, each new reservation can have its own scope, but the billing context is determined by the original reservation order. Therefore, if you initially purchased the reservation under Subscription A, it will continue to bill to Subscription A unless you change the scope of one of the new reservations to a different subscription (Subscription B) and ensure that the billing context reflects that change.
