how to fix my dowlnoads. i have a PDF file i need to edit for court and i could read it fine in the emails. then once i i downloaded it. it showed up in chinese. also it will not allow me to edit it any what app do i need to you to pull it up in ENGLISH

why when i open a letter in my yahoo emails is it fine but then when i download it to make some edits for courts it changes to chinese also I can not edit it in the email..so what a[[ do i need to do that

i am able to download it. it is in english, normal font when i am reading it in the yahoo inbox. then i click download, it will not let me choose where the download goes... then i try to open it and i have to choose which app to use and my only options are notebook and some video. i probably need ro install some other apps
