    Hi wayne goodman,

Good day. I'm Jhun an independent advisor. In regards with your old account issue where you still receiving in Outlook that are sent to your old custom domain email. This means the old email is still connected somewhere in your account. Let's check and do some steps and see if it will fix the problem.

    A. Check if your old domain is still an alias.

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com.
    2. Your Info.
    3. Manage how you sign in to Microsoft.
    4. Look under Account aliases.
    5. If it appears you can remove it or just disable as primary.

    B. Check if it’s connected inside Outlook web.

    1. Go to: https://outlook.live.com.
    2. Gear icon (settings).
    3. Mail.
    4. Sync email.
    5. Look under: Connected accounts Email aliases Send mail as
    6. If your domain email is listed there, Outlook is still pulling mail from it.

    C. Check If Email Forwarding Is Enabled

    1. In Outlook Web go to Settings.
    2. Mail
    3. Forwarding
    4. Make sure forwarding is OFF unless you want it.

    D. If you still have your domain's DNS, check it.

If you still own the domain:

    1. Log into your domain registrar (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.)
    2. Check MX records
    3. If they still point to Microsoft, email will still deliver there.
    4. Sample of Microsoft MX: something.mail.protection.outlook.com
    5. If that’s still active, your domain is still routing mail to Microsoft.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Jhun
