Hi there! I signed up for the Microsoft office and LinkedIn premium Promotion exactly a week ago. I review the Microsoft office 365 benefits but I haven’t received the LinkedIn premium email yet. I checked my regular mail and junk mail but nothing is there. Is there anything I can do? Move from: Microsoft 365 and Office | Subscription, account, billing | For education | Other

    Hello AQ,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

I understand that you are having issue with Microsoft Office and LinkedIn Premium promotion. I truly understand how you feel. Let me assist you go through this situation.

    I suggest you:

    1. Check if the LinkedIn Premium benefit is waiting to be redeemed

Sign in to the Microsoft account you used to purchase Microsoft 365, then go to Services & Subscriptions and review the listed benefits. The LinkedIn Premium offer appears there when available, not only by email. Microsoft does not state that the email alone is the only way to activate the benefit. If the benefit is visible there, selecting it will redirect you to LinkedIn to finish activation.

    1. Make sure your Microsoft and LinkedIn accounts are connected

Even if you already have LinkedIn, Microsoft requires the accounts to be linked before LinkedIn benefits can activate.

Microsoft’s official process confirms that you must accept data sharing between the two accounts during the connection flow.

If this connection step is skipped or declined, the Premium offer will not activate.

    1. Confirm how you purchased Microsoft 365

If you purchased Microsoft 365 through:

    • Apple App Store
    • Google Play
    • Amazon
    • Another third‑party retailer

Then Microsoft cannot issue or manage promotional benefits directly, including LinkedIn Premium. In that case, Microsoft instructs customers to contact the original retailer for billing and subscription issues.

    1. Contact Microsoft Support (if purchased directly from Microsoft)

    If:

    • You bought Microsoft 365 directly from Microsoft
    • The accounts are connected
    • The benefit does not appear in Services & Subscriptions
    • And no email arrived after 7 days

Then this requires account‑level review by Microsoft Support, as there is no self‑service recovery documented in Microsoft’s help content. Microsoft’s support scope explicitly covers subscription, account, and billing issues like this.

I hope this will help with your situation. Please feel free to reach back if you have further update or more questions.

    Best Regards,

If you signed up for the Microsoft Office and LinkedIn Premium promotion and have not received the LinkedIn Premium email after a week, there are a few steps you can take:

    1. Check the Email Address: Ensure that you are checking the correct email address that you used to sign up for the promotion.
    2. Spam/Junk Folder: While you mentioned checking your junk mail, it’s worth double-checking to see if the email was filtered there.
    3. Wait a Bit Longer: Sometimes, activation emails can take longer than expected to arrive. It might be worth waiting a few more days.
    4. Contact Support: If you still do not receive the email, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance. They can help verify your subscription and ensure that the email was sent.

Unfortunately, the context provided does not contain specific information regarding LinkedIn Premium promotions, so contacting support would be the best course of action if the email does not arrive soon.
