Transferred to new laptop and migrated all off old laptop and now I can not log in to the old

I have migrated and erased all the data from my old laptop, but I selected on the reboot I indicated that I wanted to use the laptop for my use rather than the selection to donate.  I now have the same issue of not being able to sign in.  I am not able to log in because the old laptop does not recognize my password.

It seems that you are experiencing issues logging into your old laptop after migrating your data and erasing it. Since the old laptop does not recognize your password, you may want to consider the following steps:

    1. Check for Caps Lock and Num Lock: Ensure that these keys are not affecting your password entry.
    2. Use Password Reset Options: If available, try using any password reset options provided on the login screen.
    3. Boot into Safe Mode: If you can access Safe Mode, you might be able to log in with a different account or troubleshoot the issue further.
    4. Reinstall Windows: If you have already erased the data and cannot recover your password, you may need to consider a clean installation of Windows, which will allow you to set up the laptop as new.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to seek further assistance from Microsoft support or consult the documentation related to user account problems.
