Thanks! I still haven't solved the problem. There is nowhere in notes to change font size anymore.

    Hi @Tim Coy

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you so much for taking the time to sharing your situation and I completely understand how inconvenient it can be when something as simple as adjusting font size doesn’t behave the way you expect.

Different Microsoft 365 apps handle “notes” a little differently, and this can sometimes lead to confusion. To make sure you get the right steps, here’s a quick breakdown of what’s possible depending on which type of notes you’re working with:

1/ If you’re using Outlook Notes (yellow sticky‑style notes)

    • Outlook lets you change the default font and font size for new notes by going to:  File > Options > Choose Notes and Journal > Select Font.
    • Any new notes you create afterward will use the updated size.
    • A small limitation to keep in mind: this change won’t affect existing notes, and some Outlook versions don’t fully support changing note font styling.
    • You may find further guidance here: How to change the fonts in Notes of Outlook?

2/ If you're referring to the Notes Pane in PowerPoint

    • You can adjust the text size while presenting by using the increase/decrease text buttons inside Presenter View.
    • For printed notes, the size can be customized through View > Notes Master, which controls how the fonts look on printed Notes Pages.
    • These changes won’t modify the small Notes pane you see in normal editing mode, which is why the font might seem “stuck.”
    • Here’s a resource that provides more insight: Format text in the Notes pane - Microsoft Support
