I set up a child account for my son and forgot the password. I only set it up for Minecraft and have not used it for anything else. He is part of my family group but there is no option to reset the password from the family group settings. Account recovery form was rejected. There is no more information I can provide to satisfy it.

Please can you tell me if you have tried resetting your son's password using the forgot password option when you try and sign in?
If not, please go to https://outlook.com
Please click onto sign in, and enter your son's email address. Then click onto 'Forgot password'
You should then be able to change his password using his recovery information.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already tried the account recovery and was rejected. There is no other information I can provide other than name and DOB, because this account was only created for the purpose of using Minecraft. It hasn't been used for anything else.

He may still be signed into a device he has used previously.
