POP Gmail Configuration on Outlook 2024 (Classic) IMPOSSIBLE

Actually, not not impossible, because I added 1 account, smooth as silk.

Now, trying to add the 2nd one (both are Gmail), same exact steps in Configuration, same info, obviously different Credentials for each account and the 2nd one CANOOT be added, always returning errors!

Been stuck in this loop for hours, there is NOTHING wrong with the data I'm inserting and it just DOES NOT work for the 2nd account!

Why? If exactly the same thing, exactly the same settings, only User Name and Password are different, why does it NOT work for the 2nd one? What explains this?

Both were working fine on Outlook 2019, so what's the issue here?

Thanks!

It sounds like you're experiencing issues adding a second Gmail account to Outlook 2024 (Classic). Here are a few potential reasons and solutions:

    1. IMAP Settings: Ensure that IMAP is enabled for the second Gmail account. You can check this by logging into the Gmail account via a web browser, going to Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP, and ensuring that "Enable IMAP" is selected.
    2. App Passwords: If you have two-step verification enabled on your Gmail account, you may need to create an app password specifically for Outlook. This app password is used instead of your regular password when setting up the account in Outlook.
    3. Account Limits: Google has certain limits on the number of accounts that can be accessed via POP or IMAP. If you've reached this limit, you may not be able to add another account until you remove an existing one.
    4. Outlook Profile Issues: Sometimes, issues can arise from the Outlook profile itself. You might want to try creating a new Outlook profile and adding the second Gmail account there to see if that resolves the issue.
    5. Error Messages: Pay attention to any specific error messages you receive when trying to add the second account. These messages can provide clues as to what might be going wrong.

If both accounts were working fine in Outlook 2019, it's possible that changes in authentication methods or settings in Outlook 2024 are causing the issue. You may want to consult the Microsoft support documentation for any updates or changes related to Gmail integration in Outlook 2024.
