    Hi Pat Nolan,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

The error you're seeing usually means your Microsoft account can’t complete Xbox Live sign‑in, which Microsoft Solitaire uses for profiles, achievements, and daily challenges.

Here are some possible checking steps that you can consider in this situation:

    • Open a browser and go to Xbox Account
    • Sign in with the same Microsoft account used for Solitaire
    • Complete age verification if needed
    • Close and reopen Microsoft Solitaire
    • Sign in again

If the issue persists, please try these quick resets:

1, Sync date, time, and region

    • Settings > Time & Language > Date & time
    • Turn on Set time automatically
    • Select Sync now
    • Confirm Region is correct

    2, Reset Microsoft Store cache

    • Press Windows + R, type wsreset.exe then press Enter
    • Let Microsoft Store reopen automatically

To resolve the error code 0x8015DBFE when trying to sign into Xbox Live while playing Solitaire, you can follow these troubleshooting steps:

    1. Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that your device is connected to the internet.
    2. Update Gaming Services: Make sure your Gaming Services are up to date. You can do this by:
      • Launching PowerShell as an administrator and running the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers"
      • Then, in the same PowerShell window, enter: "start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN" to reinstall Gaming Services.
    3. Update the Xbox App: If you have been in a development sandbox for a long time, the Xbox App may not be up to date. To update it:
      • Ensure you are in the RETAIL sandbox.
      • Launch PowerShell as an administrator and run: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxApp | remove-AppxPackage -allusers"
      • Then, enter: "start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9mv0b5hzvk9z" to reinstall the Xbox App.
    4. Switch to the Correct Sandbox: If you are using a development account, ensure that your device is set to the correct sandbox. You can switch sandboxes using the command: "XblPCSandbox.exe [sandbox ID]" in a GDK command prompt.
    5. Restart Your Device: Sometimes, simply restarting your PC can resolve issues with sign-in.

If you continue to experience issues after trying these steps, consider checking the Xbox support site for more specific guidance related to your error code.
