I understand how difficult it can be when you're unsure which account in your tenant has Global Admin Role, especially when you need to sign in to your admin portal of your tenant to fix important issues.
To sign in to the admin center, your account must already have admin permissions. Regular user accounts won’t be able to access the admin portal or perform admin‑level actions.
1/ If you need access to the admin center:
- Please contact your organization’s IT department or whoever manages your Microsoft 365 environment and request the appropriate admin role.
2/ In case you’re unsure who your global admin is, here are a few suggestions:
- Reach out to the person or team who originally provided your work or school account.
- Check internally with your colleagues, supervisors, or department leads, they may know who is the IT of your organization.
