Hello,

So, recently, I have gotten a new iPad, and tried logging in to my Minecraft account (can see gamertag from my previous device), however I have forgotten my Microsoft email, and password, as I was foolish 4 years ago, and forgot to save my Email and password. Help..

    Go to

    https://account.live.com/proofs/manage/additional?mkt=en-US&refd=account.microsoft.com&refp=security

And click remove for your password (as long as you have another verification method.)

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

You can try using the username lookup from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/forgotten-your-microsoft-account-username-b2049472-3b8f-27d3-61c6-67a668453f4c

However, the system can only show you a hint of the username once you have provided the verification codes through the account's security verification methods.

If you aren't able to locate your username, please try finding your Microsoft account username in other products or services associated with that account through this link:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/check-products-or-services-where-you-used-your-microsoft-account-b3d49054-11d3-4e4d-9957-a3fa97925d59

Also, if you haven't signed in to that account for more than two years, I'm afraid your account may have already been deleted/closed due to inactivity.

As stated by Microsoft, accounts that have not been signed in or have been locked for more than 2 years will be deleted due to inactivity, and they can no longer be recovered: https://support.microsoft.com/topic/microsoft-account-activity-policy-7c0a9fa7-0982-b7c6-fd72-df852b63699f

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl

To recover your Microsoft account when you don't remember your email or password, you can follow these steps:

    1. Try to recover your email: If you have any devices where you are still logged into your Microsoft account, you can check the account settings to find your email address.
    2. Use the Microsoft account recovery form: Go to the official recovery form at https://account.live.com/acsr. You will need to provide information that can help Microsoft verify your identity. This may include details like your gamertag, any associated phone numbers, or other recovery information.
    3. Check for any linked accounts: If you have linked your Microsoft account to any other services (like Xbox or Minecraft), you may be able to retrieve your email from there.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If you are still unable to recover your account, you can reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. You can find support options at https://support.microsoft.com/contactus.

Remember, recovering an account can take some time, so be patient during the process.
