    Hello EL UMC,

Thank you for reaching out in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand you’re being charged for two separate Microsoft accounts and only want to keep one active.

Since community moderators cannot access billing systems or cancel subscriptions, the fastest way to fix this is for you to sign in to each of those Microsoft accounts separately and review the subscriptions under Services & Subscriptions. From there, you can cancel the one you don’t need. After cancellation, use the “request a refund” option if it is still within the refundable period. You can also follow the prompts via this link: Cancel a Microsoft 365 subscription

If you cannot process refund, you'll need to contact Microsoft support directly:

    1. Go to Contact - Microsoft and sign in to your account.
    2. In the search box, enter "Billing and Payment."
    3. Click "Get Help" and select "Contact Support".
    4. Select Microsoft 365 and Office as the products and services, and select Billing and Payment Updates as the category.
    5. Click "Confirm".
    6. You can choose to chat with a support specialist.

Note: The live chat support team is only available during certain business hours. So if the last window says you're unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave your phone number. That way, they'll be able to call you and help.

To cancel one of your Microsoft accounts and request a refund, you will need to sign in to the Microsoft account that you wish to cancel. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Go to account.live.com and sign in with the account you want to cancel.
    2. Navigate to the Subscriptions section.
    3. Click on "Manage" for the subscription plan you want to cancel.
    4. Follow the prompts to cancel the subscription.

Please note that canceling a subscription does not delete your Microsoft account; it will still exist. For refund requests, it is recommended to contact Microsoft Billing Support directly as they can assist you with payment issues and refunds. You can find more information on how to contact support in the provided context.
