If you are receiving frequent requests to sign in by verifying a number that you are not initiating, it could be due to a few reasons. Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:

    1. Check for Unauthorized Access: Ensure that your account has not been compromised. You can do this by reviewing your account activity for any unfamiliar sign-ins.
    2. Update Security Settings: Go to the Microsoft account security page and check your security info. Make sure your recovery phone number and email are correct and that there are no unauthorized devices linked to your account.
    3. Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, cached data can cause issues with sign-in requests. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try signing in again.
    4. Use a Different Browser or Device: If the problem persists, try using a different browser or device to see if the issue continues.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.

By following these steps, you should be able to reduce or eliminate the unwanted sign-in requests.
