To help narrow down the issue:
- Are you using the Outlook desktop app for Windows, or are you opening Outlook in a web browser?
- Is this a personal Outlook/Hotmail account, or a work/school account?
- Are you seeing any “Sync” or “Updating” messages at the bottom of Outlook?
Please also try this:
- Close Outlook. > Reopen it.
- Delete one junk email. > Wait 1–2 minutes.
- Monitor if it comes back.
