msedge.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to ad.purplecloud.net. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated security certificates represent a risk.

    Hi Kuylim,

A website you visited in Microsoft Edge may have tried to serve ads via the domain mentioned in your screenshot, and Bitdefender has rightly blocked that connection.

For additional protection, you may consider installing an extension like uBlock Origin (a third-party addon for Microsoft Edge) by Raymond Hill to block bad sites at the browser level.
