Just purchased new computer with windows 11. Downloaded office 24 professional. I use Earthlink email, I have no emails in the earthlink account, and it is now telling me I am past my storage limit.

Hello, I'm Quinn and here to help.

OneDrive is not related to this issue. Disconnecting OneDrive won’t affect Earthlink’s mail storage. Could you please clarify the following:

    1. Where does the error appear? (Outlook, EarthLink webmail, web browser, or another device)
    2. What is the exact error message? If possible, please share the screenshot.
    3. Does your EarthLink account show as full when you log in through the web?
    4. Did this issue start after linking your EarthLink account in Office 2024?
    5. Is your EarthLink account set up in Outlook as IMAP or POP?

If you have any additional details, please feel free to share them as well. In the meantime, please check your email storage in Earthlink webmail, empty the Trash and Spam folders, and restart Outlook to see if the issue resolves.

It seems that your Earthlink email account is indicating that you have exceeded your storage limit, even though you mentioned there are no emails in the account. This situation could arise due to several reasons:

    1. Storage Quota: Check if your Earthlink email account has a specific storage limit and see if it has been reached. Sometimes, even if there are no visible emails, other items like drafts, sent items, or spam can consume storage space.
    2. Email Client Configuration: Ensure that your email client (in this case, Office 24 Professional) is configured correctly to sync with your Earthlink account. Incorrect settings might lead to issues with email retrieval and storage reporting.
    3. Clearing Space: If you have access to your Earthlink webmail, try logging in through a web browser and check for any hidden folders or items that may be taking up space. Deleting unnecessary items can help free up storage.
    4. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Earthlink support for assistance, as they can provide specific insights into your account status and help resolve storage issues.

Make sure to also check any settings in your Office application that might affect how emails are downloaded or stored.
