    Hi @Anjali Pathak,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand how confusing and frustrating it can be when you have several different accounts, and I'm here to help you sort everything out.

A few additional questions to help narrow things down:

    • Which Microsoft apps are you having trouble with? (e.g., Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Office apps, Microsoft Store, etc.)
    • Are you seeing any specific error messages?
    • Are you using these accounts for personal use, work/school use, or both?

To better scope the issue and identify which accounts are causing the conflict, could you please share the email addresses of the Microsoft accounts you believe you’re using?

For your privacy and security, please send them via a private message. Once I have that information, I can help check the account types and guide you on the next steps to fix the access issues.

Thank you again for your time and understanding. While my initial response may not resolve the issue immediately, I’d like to gather more details about your situation so I can assist you more effectively.

I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response!

To streamline your Microsoft accounts and keep only one, you can follow these steps:

    1. Identify Accounts: Make a list of all your Microsoft accounts. You can check your accounts by going to the Microsoft account sign-in page and attempting to sign in with your email addresses.
    2. Choose One Account: Decide which account you want to keep. This should be the one you use most frequently or have the most important data associated with.
    3. Remove Other Accounts:
      • From Windows: Go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school (or Email & accounts), select the Microsoft accounts you want to remove, and click Remove.
      • From Microsoft Apps: In any Office application, go to File > Account > Sign out for the accounts you want to remove.
      • From Microsoft Edge: Click your profile icon in Edge, go to Manage profile settings, and select Sign out for the accounts you want to remove.
    4. Switch to Local Account (Optional): If you want to switch from a Microsoft account to a local account, go to Settings > Accounts > Your info and select Sign in with a local account instead.
    5. Backup Important Data: Before removing any accounts, ensure you back up any important data associated with those accounts to avoid losing access to files or information.

Following these steps should help you manage your accounts more effectively and resolve issues with using Microsoft apps.
