A collaborative workspace app in Microsoft 365 designed to help teams co-create, stay organized, and work together in real time across apps and devices.
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Sorry for this frustrating experience that you're encountering. This issue can happen when a Loop page gets disconnected from its storage location in OneDrive or SharePoint, or when sync problems occur between the Loop app and the cloud.
Let's try to recover your content with these approaches:
Check OneDrive's version history and recycle bin
Even though you mentioned checking the bin, let's be thorough. Open OneDrive on the web, go to the Recycle Bin on the left sidebar, and look for any .loop or .fluid files from two days ago. If you find something, restore it immediately.
Additionally, if you can locate the Loop workspace folder in OneDrive (usually under "Apps" or "My files"), right-click on the folder itself and select "Version history" - sometimes the content exists in an earlier version of the container file even when the page appears empty.
Access Loop through the web version and check all workspaces
Instead of using the Loop app, go directly to Loop in your browser and sign in. Click on "Workspaces" in the left panel and carefully check every workspace you have access to, including any that might be labeled "Personal" or "Shared."
Sometimes pages get moved between workspaces unintentionally. Also check the "Recent" section here, as the web version sometimes shows files that the desktop app doesn't.
Search for the page title or content fragments in Microsoft 365
Go to office.com, use the search bar at the top, and type the exact title of your Loop page or any unique phrases you remember writing. Microsoft's search sometimes indexes Loop content separately, and this might surface the file location even if it's not visible in Loop itself.
Contact Microsoft Support with your file details
Since this appears to be a platform issue rather than user error, reach out to Microsoft Support directly. Provide them with the page title, the exact creation date (two days ago), and explain that the file vanished without deletion on your part. Microsoft keeps backend logs and sometimes can recover content from server-side backups that aren't accessible to regular users, especially if the issue occurred within the last few days.
Hope this helps. Feel free to get back if you need further assistance.
