"Site can't be reached" when I click Show All Notebooks in OneNote

Good day. I'm Jhun an independent advisor. With the error "Site cant be reached" this means the app is trying to open your notebooks from OneDrive in a browser, but something is blocking the connection. Let's try to do some methods and steps to fix this issue.

A. Check OneDrive if opening properly. OneNote notebooks stored in the cloud open through, Microsoft OneDrive and OneNote.

Checking method:

1. Open your browser manually.
2. Go to: https://onedrive.live.com
3. Sign in with the same account used in OneNote.
4. If it opens, the issue is browser related.
5. If the error "Site cant be reached" this is a network issue.

B. Do a network fix.

1. On Windows, Press Windows + R
2. Type: cmd
3. In Command Prompt, type: ipconfig /flushdns Press Enter
4. Restart your computer
5. This fixes DNS errors.

C. Try to use a different browser from your usual browser that you use.

D. Check if you are signed out in OneNote. Sometimes credentials expire and link fails unkowingly.

1. On OneNote click File.
2. Account
3. Check if your account is signed-in.

E. Try to reset OneNote if you are using the app.

1. Close OneNote app.
2. Press Windows+R.
3. Paste: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneNote
4. Rename the version folder like 16.0 to 16.0.old
5. Open OneNote again.
6. This will rebuild local cache without deleting notebooks.

1. Go to: https://support.microsoft.com
2. Scroll to bottom.
3. Click Contact Microsoft Support.
4. Choose: Microsoft 365 OneDrive or OneNote
5. Select Chat with support agent.
6. If chat isn’t visible, try opening in an InPrivate/Incognito window.
