hello, I’m Virginia a fellow Windows user.

What is the PC telling you to buy? If there’s a message saying your key/licence is invalid then from where did you purchase the key?

Right click Start>choose terminal or powershell with admin & enter slmgr.vbs /dlv does it say , OEM, Retail or KMS/Volume?

If it’s asking about Office then was this purchased from Microsoft or did it come pre-installed? Is it a subscription version or bought outright? If subscription then check to see if you’re still subscribed.

If your laptop came with Microsoft Office pre-installed, it may have been a trial version or a limited-time offer that has now expired. In such cases, you would need to purchase a subscription or a standalone version of Microsoft Office to continue using it. Additionally, if there were any changes in the licensing agreements or if the software was tied to a previous account that is no longer accessible, that could also prompt the need for a purchase.

If you believe this is an error, you might want to check the licensing status of your Office installation or contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
