Hello all - I am going absolutely insane! No one has been able to help me.

For about a year now, I keep seeing a charge on my credit card statement of $8.14 -- every single month. I don't use Microsoft at all. I have checked the "Subscriptions" tab and there is nothing listed. Further, I have checked the "Recent transactions" and nothing. There isn't even a card saved on file.

I have tried chatting with support but when I try to "sign in to support" nothing happens. It re-routes me to the sign in screen. I tried to dispute it with my card and they said to take it up with Microsoft.

I HATE MICROSOFT and this experience has only solidified that I will NEVER be a customer again.

Somone please help me!

To stop a recurring charge on your card when there are no active subscriptions or accounts, you can follow these steps:

    1. Investigate the Charge: Since you mentioned that you do not see any subscriptions or recent transactions, it's essential to check if the charge is linked to any other Microsoft services or accounts that you might have forgotten about.
      • You can refer to the guide on how to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft here.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: If you still cannot identify the charge, contacting Microsoft Support directly is advisable. You can reach out to them by visiting the Microsoft support page, where you can select the appropriate category for billing issues. If you are having trouble signing in, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.
    3. Dispute the Charge with Your Bank: If Microsoft cannot resolve the issue, you may need to continue working with your bank to dispute the charge. They may require specific information from you about the charge to assist you further.
    4. Monitor Your Accounts: Keep an eye on your bank statements for any additional charges and ensure that your financial institution is aware of the situation.

Taking these steps should help you address the recurring charge issue effectively.
