How do I get my PC to recognise both my headphone and headphone mic?

I have what looks like a combo jack on the front panel of my PC, yet when i plug it in it only either recognises just the microphone or just the headphone depending on which one i set for the 'green' jack despite it, again, being a combo jack. How do i get it to recognise the full headset?

    Hi,

In this case, you need a Jack Adapter if your headphones are Dual Jack or the reverse, as shown int he image below

    :Adaptador / Divisor P2 + 2 Jack P2 (J2 fêmea) Estéreo - Custom Cabos

    Or

Use the back panel on the motherboard.
