Today I reinstalled Windows for a whole other mess of issues I won't get into here, but I need to reinstall Microsoft 365. I've signed into my account, and there's nothing there except to buy it. I tried my product key, and I have all of my monthly invoices, but any time I click the link it wants me to sign in again and won't let me use my email to do it. It says I can't use my "personal email" but that's the only email I have for this whole thing, and is even the email I sign in with on microsoft.

Naturally, the phone number is 0 help because it just says go online, but I can't get online to do anything. I finally got to the "support" center, and it just circles me back here or to the same sign in page it won't let me use.

What link did you use to log in?

this is the standard installation instructions

    Please go to https://www.office.com

Sign into the Microsoft account you used for the subscription. Click on Apps on the left.

Then on the upper right, click on "Install apps". This will now download the installer file. Once downloaded, click on the file to install. It will install the Desktop version of the apps for you then.

It seems you are experiencing issues with reinstalling Microsoft 365 after reinstalling Windows. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the problem:

    1. Verify Your Subscription: Make sure you are logged into the correct Microsoft account that has the subscription. You can check your subscription status by visiting the Microsoft account services page: Microsoft Account Services.
    2. Use the Correct Email: If you are being prompted that your "personal email" cannot be used, ensure that you are using the email associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription. Sometimes, work or school accounts are required for certain subscriptions.
    3. Product Key: If you have a product key, you can try redeeming it again through the Microsoft website. Make sure you are logged into the correct account when doing this.
    4. Troubleshoot Sign-in Issues: If you are having trouble signing in, consider using the Microsoft 365 sign-in troubleshooter, which can help resolve common sign-in problems. You can find it in the Get Help app on your device.
    5. Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, you may need to reach out to Microsoft Support directly for assistance. They can provide more specific help regarding your account and subscription issues.

Following these steps should help you regain access to your Microsoft 365 subscription and allow you to reinstall it on your device.
