    With the document that you want to save as the active document, click on File and then of Save As and scroll to the bottom of the list of places and click on Browse. That will open classic Save As dialog shown below by means of which you can navigate to the folder into which you want the document to be saved. I recommend that you do NOT save documents to the Desktop.
