My PIN is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on my other device. When I click set up my PIN it routed me to enter my back up email. When I enter my email there's a pop up error saying I've requested too many code and need to try again tomorrow. I waited for 24 hours however it still the same. I need my laptop because I have a job interview later. Can you help me?

To resolve your PIN issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Wait and Retry: Since you've encountered a message indicating that you've requested too many codes, it's essential to wait for a full 24 hours before trying again. If the issue persists beyond this period, proceed to the next steps.
    2. Use an Administrator Account: If you can access the device in any way, try logging in using an administrator account. You can enable the built-in administrator account if necessary, which allows you to reset your PIN.
    3. Access Recovery Options: On the login screen, hold down the Shift key and click on Restart. This will take you to the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). From there, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt. You can use the Command Prompt to reset your PIN or password.
    4. Reset the Device: If all else fails, consider resetting your device while keeping your files. You can do this by creating a USB installation media for Windows and selecting the option to reset your PC while preserving your personal files.
    5. Contact Support: If you're still unable to resolve the issue, it may be beneficial to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.

These steps should help you regain access to your laptop and set up your PIN again.
