Open Device Manager, and make sure you've audio drivers installed and properly working.

You can visit your device manufacturer's website to download audio drivers for your system model.

Try updating audio drivers to latest version.

Or if you've already updated them, try to roll back previous version to see if that works.

Run Playing Audio troubleshooter from Settings app > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. Let us know what it reports back.

    Hi,

Access msinfor32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot and post it here?

What sound driver do you have? Check in Device Manager under the Sound, video and game controllers tab > take a screenshot and post it here.

Go to settings > system > troubleshoot > Other troubleshoot > audio

    Thanks

If you're experiencing no sound on your laptop, here are several steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Sound Settings: Make sure that the sound is not muted. Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "Open Sound settings" to check if your output device is set correctly.
    2. Update Audio Drivers: Go to Device Manager, find "Sound, video and game controllers," right-click your audio device (such as "Realtek" or "Intel SST"), and select "Update driver". You can also download the latest drivers from your laptop manufacturer's support site.
    3. Run Windows Troubleshooter: Navigate to Settings > System > Sound and look for the "Troubleshoot" option under the Output section. This can help identify and fix common audio problems.
    4. Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, audio issues can be resolved with the latest Windows updates. Make sure your system is fully updated.
    5. BIOS/Firmware Check: Ensure that your BIOS is up to date, as audio initialization can depend on firmware.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may indicate a hardware problem, and you might need to contact your laptop's support for further assistance.
