So like a month ago I bought a new pc and finally remembered to install Minecraft, after some issues with my Xbox and Microsoft accounts log in, I finally signed into the official MC launcher using the Email I bought Minecraft on, and immediately I noticed something was wrong, Instead of my old username there was a random xbox gamertag, then I saw that instead of "Play" it said "Buy now"... and now I'm reconsidering my life choices, the account I had, had like 300 hours into a Skyblock profile. I tried going into the billing history of the email I bought Minecraft on and nothing showed up (yes I clicked on "the past 7 years") please help.

I think the only solid step u can take is checking that acct’s entitlment on https://account.microsoft.com/billing, because the launcher reads that API directly and if MC isn’t listed there, it’ll never show Play, so try the mails u used during the old Mojang‑migration.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with your Minecraft account, particularly with the ownership and access to your previous game data. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve this:

    1. Check Account Sign-In: Ensure that you are signed in with the correct Microsoft account that was used to purchase Minecraft. Sometimes, users have multiple accounts and may accidentally sign in with the wrong one.
    2. Account Recovery: If you suspect that your account has been compromised or if the email associated with your account has changed, you may need to go through the account recovery process. You can find guidance on recovering a hacked or compromised Microsoft account here.
    3. Contact Minecraft Support: If you are unable to resolve the issue through the above steps, consider reaching out to Minecraft Support. They may be able to assist you in recovering your account or verifying your purchase. You can submit a request for assistance through their support page here.
    4. Billing History: If your purchase does not show up in your billing history, make sure you are checking the correct Microsoft account. If you purchased Minecraft through a different account or platform, that could explain why it is not appearing.

Taking these steps should help you regain access to your Minecraft account and recover your progress.
