Alex is correct that the increase is due to the inclusion of Copilot. However, you may have the option to retain the Classic suite if Copilot isn't wanted. Please see: Back to Classic

    Hello Nancy Manire,

Thank you for reaching out in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand how confusing it feels to receive a renewal notice showing $99.99 when your previous renewal was $69.99.

The price change you’re seeing is consistent with the updates Microsoft announced for Microsoft 365 Personal. The increase happened because Copilot was added to all Microsoft 365 apps starting January 16, 2025, and the subscription price was adjusted to reflect the added AI capabilities and unlimited Copilot usage.

If your previous receipt from 2025 shows $69.99 and the upcoming renewal shows $99.99, this aligns with the updated pricing communicated by Microsoft.

If you want to review or change your subscription, you can do so directly from your Microsoft account’s Services & Subscriptions page. Or you can also follow instructions via these links to cacel or turn off the recurring billing:

    Hope this helps
