    Hello KYDOMA,

Please follow the below steps if you login to your account to set your MFA back into use.

    Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info

    1. Sign in
    2. Remove the old Microsoft Authenticator entry
    3. Click Add sign‑in method
    4. Select Authenticator app
    5. Open Microsoft Authenticator on the new phone
    6. Scan the QR code and approve the test notification

    You’re done.

    You cannot sign in yet?

    You cannot self‑fix this.

    1. Contact your IT / Entra ID admin
    2. Ask them to reset your MFA / authentication methods
    3. After reset, sign in again
    4. You’ll be forced to set up Authenticator from scratch on the new phone

    This takes admins 1–2 minutes.

    Regards,

    Hinesh Bandlamudi
