Every time I switch on the computer tells me verbally on the status of the internet connection.

This is becoming very annoying.

    Hello

If it is not the Narrator, do a clean boot. See if that still continues in clean boot environment, if not, it is a third party one for sure.

Here is instruction and how to narrow down.

Do a clean boot using this instruction: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd

Make sure you follow the instruction closely and do NOT disable the Microsoft services.

On Windows 11 this is likely Narrator announcing network status changes.

Press Win + Ctrl + Enter once. That immediately turns Narrator off.

To disable it permanently, press Win + I to open Settings, go to Accessibility, select Narrator, and switch Narrator to Off. Also turn off “Start Narrator before sign-in” and “Start Narrator after sign-in” so it doesn’t come back on reboot.

If the voice still speaks after that, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, open Task Manager, go to the Startup apps tab, and disable anything related to accessibility, screen readers, or third-party network utilities. Then restart.
