    1

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Update and Security - Troubleshoot

    Click 'Show Additional Troubleshooters'

Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter from the resulting page

Check if Bluetooth is then working and stable.

    2

    If not, open Device Manager.

At the top of Device Manager, choose View - Show Hidden Devices

Does that show hidden Bluetooth device(s)

if so, right click and uninstall that

    Restart your PC

Check if Bluetooth is then working and stable.

    3

If Bluetooth is still not working, go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the Bluetooth device drivers they recommend.

If you have any difficulty locating that support page, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

To prevent the Bluetooth icon from disappearing and to ensure that the Bluetooth functionality remains stable, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Bluetooth Settings: Make sure that the Bluetooth radio is turned on. You can do this by going to the Bluetooth settings in Windows.
    2. Show Bluetooth Icon: Ensure that the option to show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area is enabled. You can find this option in the Bluetooth settings dialog under the Options tab.
    3. Device Manager: If the Bluetooth device is becoming hidden in Device Manager, it may be due to power management settings. You can check the properties of the Bluetooth device in Device Manager and ensure that the option to allow the computer to turn off the device to save power is disabled.
    4. Bluetooth Driver: Ensure that you have the latest Bluetooth drivers installed. You can check for updates through Windows Update or the manufacturer's website.
    5. Reboot: Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve temporary issues with device recognition.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, further troubleshooting may be necessary, such as checking for conflicts with other devices or reinstalling the Bluetooth driver.
