Hi,

my gmail is signed into Windows on my PC - when I press Start on my computer I can access my profile...

But when I launch Minecraft I have to sign in. But the problem is that my mail is (example) [Moderator's note: PII removed] but I have to send my code to [Moderator's note: PII removed]****.

I have never even heard of dampmail. But my password is the same as before but when I enter my password I have to secure my account and to do that I have to confirm it's my account on @dampmail.com.

How do I solve this? I cannot even change to this account (which is my secondary one). I've been a regular user and for this to happen? Like Microsoft is an amateur company.

I tried calling and solving this issue but idk. I've tried to recover my account but only errors occure. Error 0x800b0003 is the most common.

I just want to play games with my family....

    Dear @riqwertz,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I apologize for any inconvenience you may encounter when using our services/ products. Based on your description, kindly try these following steps:

Please sign in to Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft and open the Security section. From there, update or add a backup (recovery) email address and confirm whether the change can be saved successfully.

When you sign in to Minecraft, the verification code is being sent to a recovery email address that you do not recognize. If a verification code is delivered to an address you did not request or recognize, it can indicate that someone compromise the account.

I sincerely hope you understand that the initial steps I suggested may not have completely fixed the issue, as there may still be underlying causes that have not yet been identified. I am here to work closely with you, troubleshoot effectively, and explore every possible solution to ensure the best possible outcome.
