I am trying to restore my account I have backed it once a week for more than three years, since my old phone broke I am trying to restore in new device, but is says no backup found try another account I am using android account.

Do you follow the instruction to restore the backup without signing in?
The backup would normally be saved to a Microsoft account and not an Android account.

I also lost my Authenticator accounts, despite having a backup, when my phone died. It now said no backups are found. I had 38 accounts.
Despite being a Microsoft Moderator, I would wish Microsoft should stop using AI to write crappy code and fix on bugs like these.
