Notifications are not showing in notifications

Question

I have a number of apps that are allowed to send notifications. Only Microsoft Weather is providing notifications and my file backup completion. Why am I not getting my notifications? This started a couple of months ago.

This issue might be due to blocked site permissions, profile issues, or system settings. Here are a few things you can check to see if it helps:

1. Verify Edge Notification Settings

Open Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Site permissions > Notifications

Turn off Quiet notification requests

2. Clear Website Cookies

Go to Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies

Remove cookies for the specific site that isn’t sending notifications

3. Test with a New Profile

Create a new Edge profile to check if notifications work correctly there.

Additional Steps:

• Disable Focus (Do Not Disturb) in Windows Settings > System > Focus.
• Reset Edge to defaults as a last resort. Open Edge Settings > Reset settings > Select Restore settings to their default values > Confirm with Reset

Note: Resetting Edge will change your startup pages, open tabs, and other customized settings.
