Welcome Kosma Ryszka!
Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A forum.
I understand your Xbox app and Minecraft launcher on your Windows are not recognizing your internet connection when you try to log in even though your internet is working. Here are some steps you can try:
1. Disable antivirus temporarily
Some antivirus programs block the connection the apps need. Turn it off briefly to test if that resolves the issue.
2. Try disabling IPv6 on your network adapter.
Sometimes the Xbox app or Minecraft Launcher misreads the connection if your ISP or router doesn’t fully support IPv6. Turning it off forces Windows to use IPv4, which can stabilize the login process.
- Press Windows + R, type
ncpa.cpl> Enter. - Right-click your active connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) → Properties.
- Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
- Click OK, restart your PC, then relaunch the apps.
3. Download Gaming Services Repair Tool for PC
This tool is designed to fix issues with installing or updating Gaming Services, which may be causing the issue you’re experiencing. Download it and follow the instructions provided in the “Downloadable version” section of the article.
4. If the issue persists, reinstall Gaming Services
Close the Xbox and Minecraft apps, open PowerShell in administrator mode, and run:
Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers
This uninstalls Gaming Services. When you reopen Xbox, it will prompt you to reinstall the required services.
Hope one of these could help you. Please let me know how it goes!
