    Hi there!

Just to add up on the above, once you are on the device manager you can also filter the view to check for hidden devices. You can do so following the steps below:

Press Windows + X on your keyboard.

    1. Click Device Manager
    2. Click View (top menu)
    3. Select Show hidden devices
    4. Expand Human Interface Devices

If HID-compliant touch screen is (greyed out) → Right click → Enable

    1. If it appears → Right click → Uninstall device
      • Restart laptop
      • Windows should reinstall automatically

I hope this helps. Please note that this is a public forum, I will be responding you in short period of time and regret for a delay in response. As I am merely a fellow user trying to provide insight and information that may be helpful to others. Thanks!

To troubleshoot the issue with your HP EliteBook x360 11030G2 touch screen not being detected, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager and look for the "Human Interface Devices" section. If the HID-compliant touch screen is missing, it may not be installed correctly.
    2. Update Drivers: Ensure that your touch screen drivers are up to date. You can do this by right-clicking on the HID-compliant touch screen (if it appears) and selecting "Update driver." If it doesn't appear, you may need to reinstall the driver.
    3. Reboot the Device: Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve hardware detection issues.
    4. Run Windows Troubleshooter: Use the built-in Windows troubleshooter for hardware and devices. This can help identify and fix issues automatically.
    5. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows operating system is fully updated, as updates can include important drivers and fixes.
    6. Check BIOS Settings: Ensure that the touch screen is enabled in the BIOS settings. Sometimes, hardware can be disabled at this level.
    7. Physical Inspection: If the device has been dropped or exposed to moisture, there could be a physical issue with the touch screen hardware itself.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact HP support for further assistance or consider hardware repair options.
