    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m really sorry you’re having trouble with the document.

When the blank document opens, do you see a yellow bar at the top that says something like Protected View or Enable Editing? Sometimes Word opens files in a restricted mode, and clicking Enable Editing will allow you to start typing right away.

Please let me know exactly what you’re seeing on your screen. I'm here to help.

To start typing in a blank Word document, follow these steps:

    1. Open Microsoft Word: Launch the application on your computer.
    2. Create a New Document:
      • Click on the File menu in the top left corner.
      • Select New.
      • Choose Blank Document and click on Create.
    3. Start Typing: Once the blank document opens, you should be able to click anywhere in the document and start typing your text.

If you are unable to type, ensure that your keyboard is functioning properly and that the document is not in a read-only mode. You can also check if there are any issues with Word that might be preventing you from typing.
