When I click on the top right circle (with my initials) my name, my email address are shown but below it shows my wife's email work email address. I have no relationship to that address, have no access to it and would like it to be removed. I can click on the 3 dots to the riught of her address and I get either "forget" (which it doesn't as it is always there.) or "open sign out menu. . . " for that entity of which I have no access to. BTW her email address does not appear in either my account or my profile . . . all very maddening.

Thanks in advance for any available help.

another btw, there is no "child" involved.

Emily thank you for suggesting a possible fix but no, this is occurring directly on my outlook mail page., AI, no your answer was useless. After having gone to "Manage how you sign in to Microsoft." there was no refernce to a place where aliases could be seen.

Like Don Quixote i think that I'm tilting at windwmills.

    Hello,

This is in the App like Word, Excel, right? Not in the web browser, right?

If so, Can you go to your Windows Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School (note, it is the briefcase icon, not the little person icon). Then see if the organization email address is still listed? If so, click on it and then disconnect it

To remove your wife's business email address from your Outlook account, you can follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account: Go to the Microsoft account page and sign in with your credentials.
    2. Manage your account settings: Navigate to the account settings where you can manage email aliases.
    3. Check for linked accounts: Look for any linked accounts or aliases that may include her email address.
    4. Remove the email address: If you find her email listed, you can select it and look for an option to remove or unlink it.

If the email address does not appear in your account settings, it may be cached in your Outlook application. In that case, you can try clearing the cache or resetting the Outlook application settings to remove any saved email addresses.

If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance, as they can provide more specific guidance based on your account configuration.
