Xbox live login

I have recently had to recover my Microsoft account as I had lost access to my email account and Xbox live profile. Having recovered it I got my email account back up, but when I logged in in to my Solitaire profile it gave me a new profile instead of logging me into my old profile. How can I access my old profile?
