Microsoft office Home & student 2016 not activating

I have the product key for Microsoft Office Home & Student 2016, but I haven't installed it yet. The message "This stores.office.com page can’t be found" appears when I try to install the same thing. The website https://stores.office.com/myaccount/home.aspx could not be located. HTTP Error 404. Give me a solution, please.

That 404 happens because stores.office.com/myaccount/home.aspx is an older Microsoft Store link that no longer hosts the Office setup flow, so it sends you to a page that no longer exists.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Redeem your Office 2016 key using the current setup page

Go to setup.office.com and sign in with the Microsoft account you want tied to Office, then enter your 25-character key (no hyphens) and complete redemption. Office 2016 keys are meant to be associated with a Microsoft account first, not installed from the old store link.

Install Office from your Microsoft account after redemption

After the key is redeemed, open your Microsoft account dashboard and install from there: sign in, find your Office product, select Install, then run the installer it downloads. The installer is delivered from your account (the license “lives” there after redemption), so you are not dependent on the outdated stores.office.com page.

If the key says it was already used, install without re-entering the key

If you see “This product key has already been used,” that usually means the key was redeemed in the past. In that case, go straight to your Microsoft account’s Services or Office apps area and install from there.
