Cannot create a new azure account under new domain (need to recovery tenancy ownership)

Hello,

Trying to create a new Azure account under a new domain that we purchased and own.

The domain used to be owned by someone else and might have had Microsoft Entra / Azure AD tenant associated with it.

I'd like to start the tenant/domain verification process so that we can reset and create our own accounts / tenant/ and resources.

    Hello Ryan5021

    The issue relates to an unable to verify custom domain name as it is verified in different directory in Azure.

    To resolve this, we have engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. They will reach out to you via email or phone to help restore access to the tenant and assist in resolving the issue.
