Account locked email re-use for re-register.

Hi,

My account get locked and they are not able to reactivate the account due to the length of time since the account was suspended.

I am okay with that, but i used my Gmail to register that account and i would like to use it again to register a new account because this is the E-mail that i use for my university studying.

How is it possible or how many time i need to wait to use again my Gmail account to Re-register?

Hello. Why was the account originally locked? Was it due to suspicious activity, policy violation, inactivity, or something else?

What is the exact message shown when you try to recover it? Please copy the full wording of the message that says it cannot be reinstated.

In any case, there is no fixed waiting period. In many cases, the email address is never released for reuse. Microsoft does not provide a timeline.

I was thinking that i get hacked a few months ago and maybe they used my account for something. I ask them to check the activity because im sure its not from my country and they can make sure it was not me.

This is the message that i get from the support.

"We evaluated the appeal and are not able to reactivate the account due to the length of time since the account was suspended.

The account was suspended either because of a possible compromise situation or a violation of the Microsoft Services Agreement https://www.microsoft.com/servicesagreement/default.aspx#3_codeOfConduct. We do not have any other information to pass along to you as too much time has passed since the original suspension. "

Thanks for following up. Well, unfortunately in this case the decision from Microsoft is likely final, so there’s no way to overturn it from here.

Like I mentioned before, once a Microsoft account is permanently suspended and not reinstated after appeal, the email used as the sign-in alias is usually not released back into the system. There isn’t a waiting period, and in most situations, it can’t be reused to register a new Microsoft account.

Microsoft doesn’t provide a timeline or a way to “free up” that address after a permanent suspension, especially when a long time has passed.
