OneNote integration with Outlook

I have a MacBook and do not get the same options as my Windows colleges.

When they are in a Note book, the can highligt a text and up in their ribbon they can clikck on an icon with a red flag (Outlook tasks). They can then create a task that can be seen in their outlook planner / to-do.

I do not have this icon - and can not find this function anywhere....

Please tell me where to find this function on my mac.

In OneNote for Mac, the integration with Outlook is not as fully featured as it is on Windows. Currently, the ability to create Outlook tasks directly from OneNote, such as using the red flag icon, is not available in the Mac version. This functionality is primarily supported in the Windows version of OneNote, where users can highlight text and create tasks that sync with Outlook.

If you need to manage tasks on your Mac, you may have to manually create tasks in Outlook or use the To Do app separately, as the direct integration feature you mentioned is not present in OneNote for Mac.

For further updates or changes in features, keep an eye on Microsoft’s official documentation or updates for OneNote on Mac.
