Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

Are the speakers and microphone internal or external?

If they are external, do they have a standard audio connector (Jack connector) or USB connector, or are they connected via Bluetooth?

Also, share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    I await your reply.

If your speakers and microphone are not showing in Windows 11 after a device driver update, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager and ensure that your audio drivers are installed and functioning correctly. Look for any warning signs next to the audio devices.
    2. Update Drivers: If you haven't already, try updating your audio drivers. You can do this by right-clicking on the audio device in Device Manager and selecting "Update driver." You can also check for updates through Windows Update.
    3. Roll Back Drivers: Since you've mentioned rolling back drivers, ensure that you have rolled back to a version that was previously working. If the issue persists, you might consider reinstalling the drivers completely.
    4. Run the Audio Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters, and run the "Playing Audio" troubleshooter. This can help identify and fix common audio problems.
    5. Check Sound Settings: Ensure that the correct playback and recording devices are set as default in the Sound settings. You can access this by right-clicking the sound icon in the taskbar and selecting "Sound settings."
    6. Contact Manufacturer: If the issue continues, it may be necessary to contact Dell support for further assistance, especially if it relates to specific hardware compatibility issues.

If you have updated to the latest version of the Intel® Smart Sound Technology drivers and are still experiencing issues, it may be worth checking if there are any compatibility holds or known issues with your specific hardware configuration.
