    Dear @Swaran Nath,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand that you do not want to renew your Microsoft 365 Business Basic subscription and would like the services to be discontinued automatically after the current contract period ends.

I would like to clarify that:

Microsoft 365 subscriptions are set to renew automatically by default.

If you turn off recurring billing, your subscription will expire at the end of the current term, and no further charges will be made.

You can continue using Outlook, Outlook mobile, and other Microsoft 365 services until the expiration date.

No additional action is required once recurring billing is turned off.

Therefore, please follow these steps (require admin permission):

1/ Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.

2/ Go to Billing > Your products.

3/ Select Microsoft 365 Business Basic.

4/ Choose Turn off recurring billing (or Cancel subscription, if you want the service to stop immediately).

Turning off recurring billing ensures the subscription will end automatically after the contract expires, which matches your request. Once the subscription reaches its end date, it will move through Microsoft’s standard lifecycle. During this time, administrators still have a limited period to access and back up data if needed before the service is fully removed.

Note: As moderator, my primary goal is to provide helpful guidance and support through general troubleshooting steps. While I don’t have access to internal systems or administrative tools required to resolve account-specific or backend issues, I truly appreciate your understanding of these limitations. I genuinely hope the information I share helps guide you in the right direction, and I'm always here to assist as much as I can within my scope.

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any further questions or need further clarification, please feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you for your cooperation.
