New Tenant (Following a training)

Hello.

I completed a training through Protech Courses, which used GoDeploy for a lab setting. My tenant expired and I was curious how I could create a new Tenant.

You can't. There is an expiry of the labs as these are purchased by the training company and are recycled by Microsoft

To create a new tenant in Microsoft Entra, you can follow these steps:

1. Sign in to the Azure portal.
2. From the Azure portal menu, select Microsoft Entra ID.
3. Navigate to Entra ID > Overview > Manage tenants.
4. Select Create.
5. On the Basics tab, select the type of tenant you want to create, either Microsoft Entra ID or Microsoft Entra ID (B2C).
6. Select Next: Configuration to move to the Configuration tab.
7. Enter your desired Organization name and Initial domain name.
8. Select your desired Country/Region or leave the default option.
9. Review the information and select Create to finalize the process.

Once created, your new tenant will have a default domain like contoso.onmicrosoft.com. You will also be assigned the Global Administrator role by default.

If you need to delete the tenant later, you can do so through the Azure portal by selecting Microsoft Entra ID and then Delete directory on the Overview page.
